Description



Stars of the 2000s brighten your day, with this selection of (7) autographed game-used bats. Impressed on the barrel with the player's names, and the teams they played for, these 21st Century gamers all show abundant signs of extensive use/wear, including contact marks, bat rack streaks, gripping agent residue, barrel grain splits, and/or handle cracks. All show characteristics consistent with their attributed users, and all are signed on the barrel, with the autographs ranging ("6" to "9") in potency. Auction LOA from JSA.


Featured are:


Mike Lowell natural Louisville Slugger Genuine L162 signature model has Florida Marlins and light grain splits on the barrel. The strongest signature of the bunch, Lowell's autograph is accompanied by the inscriptions "19, Game Used". Lowell's uniform number 19 is written on both the knob and the end of the barrel.


Grady Sizemore black Louisville Slugger Genuine M110 model has Cleveland Indians on the barrel, and a crack on the handle. Number 24 is written on the end of the barrel, and repeated on the knob, which is also marked M100, 34/31.   


Melvin Mora black Rawlings Big Stick model has Orioles on the front of the barrel, and considerable splits/flaking on the back of the barrel. Number 6 is written on the end of the barrel, and the knob is impressed with JC90, 957-00. 


Geovany Soto black Louisville Slugger Genuine I13 model has Chicago Cubs on the front of the barrel, and the MLB logo on the back. The upper handle is cracked, and Soto has included the inscription "Game Used 2008". 


Lastings Milledge black Louisville Slugger Genuine C243 model has New York Mets on the front of the barrel, and the MLB logo on the back. Milledge has included the inscription "#1 1st round 03".


Carlos Pena black Louisville Slugger Genuine C271 has Texas Rangers and the MLB logo on the front of the barrel, and there is a crack on the upper handle. 


Aaron Rowand natural Louisville Slugger Genuine M356 model has Philadelphia Phillies on the front of the barrel, and the MLB logo on the back. Rowand has included the inscription "33", and the number is also written on the knob and the end of the barrel. The upper handle is cracked, just to the left of the factory label. 

 

 


Huggins and Scott is allowing the winning bidder 45 days from the date when payment is received to have the item independently authenticated. Payment must, however, be made within two weeks from the end of the auction. Huggins and Scott is not responsible for any authentication fees or shipping charges incurred by the winning bidder but H&S will refund the hammer price and buyer's premium if the item does not pass authentication with a reputable third party company.
