Description

Baseball stars shine bright in this collection of (34) HOFer/star cut signatures. Showing desirable (“8-9”) average signature strength these autographs have variously been taped, stapled or applied directly to supporting 3x5 index cards. Highlights are: Joe DiMaggio (tape over the letters “J” and "io"); Mickey Mantle (period signature; stapled, unaffected); and Jackie Robinson (taped over completely). Also present are (31) other vintage autographs. Highlights have individual full photo LOA from JSA, balance have auction LOA from JSA. More our website.

Though a significant number of these autographs are affected by tape or staples, all remain clearly legible and desirable. The balance of signers is as follows: Dick Allen (tape contacts ends), Mateo Alou (staple through the letter “M”), Lou Boudreau (tape contacts bottom), Al Brazle, Lou Brock (tape over beginning and end), Orlando Cepeda (minor ink migration, tape contacts central letters), A.
