Description

Doomed from the start with an outdated stadium and financial woes, the expansion Seattle Pilots fared miserably in the standings and moved to Milwaukee after only one season in the Great Northwest. This OAL Cronin ball is signed by (26) members of that ill-fated squad. One of a precious few survivors in the realm of Pilots memorabilia, this creamy orb (grade “8-9”) features ballpoint pennings averaging (“7”) strength. Keys include: Bouton, T. Davis, Hegan, Maglie (coach), Schultz (manager) and Segui. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.

Sweet Spot: Schultz (manager); North Panel: Segui, Kennedy, Roggenburk, Bouton (“4-5” strength), Gelnar and unidentified; South Panel: Gil, O’Brien (coach), Bates, Brabender and Plaza (coach); West Panel: Hovley, Comer, Hegan, Pagliaroni, Maglie (coach) and T. Davis; East Panel: Oyler, Locker, Brandon, Gosger, Barber, McNertney and Baney; Reverse Sweet Spot: O’Donoghue
