Description

While the “Curse of the Billy Goat,” Steve Bartman and the sieve-like composition of Leon Durham’s first baseman’s mitt (among other things) have kept the Chicago Cubs from the World Series since 1945, newly installed lights attracted the MLB All-Star Game to Wrigley Field in 1990. Encapsulated and Graded GOOD 2 (MK) by PSA, this full ticket was issued on the North Side of Chicago for that Mid-Summer Classic whose 2-0 final score was as unlikely an occurrence at Wrigley Field as, say, a World Series game. With strong perforations and brilliant colors, the voucher presents well. A numeric notation on the reverse accounts for the qualifier.
