Description

1973 was a strange season for the California Angels. The "Halos" brought in all-time great Frank Robinson to anchor the lineup, and while Nolan Ryan and Bill Singer both won 20 games, the team still managed to finish in 4th place, with a losing record.

Fifty years later, we offer you a shot at scoring the jersey worn by the Angels bat boy during the up and down 1973 campaign. Along with Robinson, the trusty bat boy was charged with handling the war clubs for sluggers Vada Pinson, Bob Oliver, and Mike Epstein, who managed to bash a total of 64 home runs between the four of them (ok, that explains it).

This fifty-year-old gamer shows plenty of authentic use/wear, and is adorned with patches as follows: front: "Angels with halo" and "BB"; back: BB; and left sleeve: state of "California with Halo". Sewn to the inside of the front tail are four labels, with: season "1973"; supplier "McAuliffe Uniform Corp."; size "38"; and care instructions.
