Fueled by Mel Ott’s first career postseason home run, the New York Giants touched Senators starter Lefty Stewart for two runs in the bottom of the first en route to a 4-2 win in the opener of the 1933 Fall Classic. Encapsulated and Graded VG-EX 4 (MK) by PSA, this “Lower Stand” ticket stub was issued at the Polo Grounds for that contest. The lone example at its tier with only two graded higher, this well-preserved October heirloom features a “GAME 1” identifier, printed seating and rain check details and the facsimile signature of Giants owner Charles Stoneham. A period penciled notation on the reverse accounts for the “MK” qualifier.
