Description

Continuing in their cities’ championship football traditions, the USFL’s Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars appeared in all three of the ill-fated league’s title contests. These (5) jerseys were worn by Stars players in a league marked by summer schedules and sparse crowds. Includes: Chuck Fusina: 1983-1985 home; Sean Landeta: 1983-1985 home; (2) Willie Rossborough: 1984 home, 1984 road; David Trout: 1985 road (autographed and worn in championship game at the Meadowlands). More on our website.

Chuck Fusina 1983-1985 Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars Game-Worn Home Jersey: a red mesh pullover garment with “14” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in gold-on-white appliqué and “FUSINA” on a nameplate atop the back number in solid white heat-pressed characters. The left front tail is home to a “Champion” size “L” label and a flap tag denoting “4 Extra Length.” The all-original gridiron item shows minimal wear.

Sean Landeta 1983-1985 Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars Game-Worn Home Jersey: a red mesh pullover garment with “7” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in gold-on-white appliqué and “LANDETA” on a nameplate atop the back number in solid white heat-pressed characters. The left front tail’s interior is home to a “Champion” size “L” label. The all-original gridiron item shows light wear.

Willie Rossborough 1984 Philadelphia Stars Game-Worn Road Jersey: a white mesh pullover garment with “76” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in red-on-gold appliqué and “ROSSBOROUGH” on a nameplate atop the back number in solid red heat-pressed characters. The left front tail is home to a “Champion” size “XL” label. The all-original gridiron item shows moderate wear.
Willie Rossborough 1984 Philadelphia Stars Home Jersey: a red mesh pullover garment with “76” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in gold-on-white appliqué. The left front tail’s interior is home to a “Champion” size “XL” label and a flap tag denoting “$ Extra Length.” The all-original gridiron item shows minimal wear. There is no name on the back (nor evidence of a nameplate having been removed), suggesting that this was a practice jersey.

David Trout 1985 Baltimore Stars USFL Championship Signed Game-Worn Road Jersey: a white mesh pullover garment with “1” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in red-on-gold appliqué and “TROUT” on a nameplate atop the back number in solid red heat-pressed characters. The left shoulder is home to a “1985 USFL Championship Game” logo patch. Just below the front of the V-neck, Trout has signed in black marker (“8” strength) and inscribed “#1.” The all-original gridiron item shows moderate wear.
