Fire off your bids for this fantastic Pete Maravich (d.1988) signed/inscribed cut. Originating during the NBA Jazz franchise’s brief 1974-1979 tenure in New Orleans this desirable autograph ranks among basketball's most sought after signatures. Applied to perforated note paper the personalized cut is adhered to a 5x4 album page. Characteristic of Maravich’s flamboyance this prized souvenir is signed in black felt pen with dynamic (“9-10”) quality as “Pistol Pete” with the inscription “44 New Orleans Jazz”. A personalization appears above the autograph as “To Joey- Best Wishes-”. Maravich’s signature is applied as “Pistol Pete” only and his surname is not present. The number “44” part of the inscription is encircled. The perforated note paper measures 4 x 2-3/4” with the perforation running vertically through the approximate center. Though the factory created perforation does run through one letter each of the personalization and inscription it does not contact the signature. The note paper is adhered solidly to the supporting album page and though there is a light compacting fold crease running horizontally through the signed area the signature remains bold and highly appealing.
