Re-named but not forgotten, the Baltimore/Washington Bullets’ glide to the hoop in this lot of interesting souvenirs dating to the club’s formidable 1960s-1970s rosters. Highlights include: (2) Elvin Hayes 1974 White House Photos: 9-15/16 x 8” black-and-white print of Hayes greeting President Gerald and Betty Ford; 9-7/8 x 7-7/8” color print of Hayes speaking at a dinner party at the White house; 1978 Photos: (24) 7x5 or 5x7 black-and-white photos of the NBA Champion Bullets during a pre-season trip to Israel. More on our website.

Also included is an April 18, 1968 Baltimore Bullets press release detailing the signing of Hall of Famer Wes Unseld. Typewritten on 8-1/2 x 14” pages (with the front page on Baltimore Bullets letterhead with the Civic Center address), the item tells of the arrival of the University of Louisville product and features quotes from Unseld and Bullets owner Arnold Heft.

Other items include a 1974 waiver signed by current "NFL Today" host James Brown. The document was drawn up for James' participation in the Urban Coalition Summer Basketball League. The page is signed by Brown in blue marker ("9" strength). Also included is a Street & Smith's Annual All Pro Basketball Team 1973-1974 Award presented to Elvin Hayes. The 8-1/2 x 11 thick stock paper sheet has an embossed seal.
