Also included is an April 18, 1968 Baltimore Bullets press release detailing the signing of Hall of Famer Wes Unseld. Typewritten on 8-1/2 x 14” pages (with the front page on Baltimore Bullets letterhead with the Civic Center address), the item tells of the arrival of the University of Louisville product and features quotes from Unseld and Bullets owner Arnold Heft.
Other items include a 1974 waiver signed by current "NFL Today" host James Brown. The document was drawn up for James' participation in the Urban Coalition Summer Basketball League. The page is signed by Brown in blue marker ("9" strength). Also included is a Street & Smith's Annual All Pro Basketball Team 1973-1974 Award presented to Elvin Hayes. The 8-1/2 x 11 thick stock paper sheet has an embossed seal.
